Vi söker dig
En Audio System Design Engineer som vill ta en central roll i ett R&D-team. Du kommer att vara med och definiera framtidens elektroniska lösningar inom vår kunds produktportfölj – från idé till färdig produkt. 
Det här är en roll för dig som inte bara designar – utan också strukturerar, förklarar och driver tekniska beslut framåt i ett högt tempo.

Om rollen

Som System Design Engineer ansvarar du för den övergripande systemdesignen i kundens produkter. Du säkerställer att lösningar är tekniskt robusta, kostnadseffektiva och möjliga att industrialisera.

En central del av rollen är att ta fram tydliga och strukturerade kravspecifikationer, både för internt utvecklingsarbete och för projekt där de outsourcar hela eller delar av utvecklingen. Du behöver kunna översätta behov till konkreta, genomarbetade underlag som andra kan arbeta effektivt utifrån.

Man arbetar med korta utvecklingscykler, vilket ställer krav på att du kan växla mellan analys och praktiskt arbete – och snabbt driva lösningar framåt.

Dina huvudsakliga ansvarsområden

• Driva och utveckla nya systemlösningar och produktkoncept
• Ansvara för helhetsdesign av audio elektroniksystem (inkl. arkitektur och komponentval)
• Ta fram strukturerade kravspecifikationer och designunderlag för både intern utveckling och externa partners
• Säkerställa att underlag är tydliga, kompletta och möjliga att exekvera utan missförstånd
• Aktivt utvärdera och motivera tekniska val (t.ex. chipval, RF- och audiolösningar)
• Leda och följa upp PCBA-design (internt och via partners)
• Arbeta praktiskt med prototyper, labbtester och verifiering
• Snabbt testa idéer, iterera och driva förbättringar
• Säkerställa att design uppfyller krav inom t.ex. EMC, RF och akustik
• Ta fram teknisk dokumentation för produktion och leverantörer
• Driva förändringar och förbättringar i befintliga produkter

Vi söker dig som…

• Har en stark teknisk grund inom audio/elektronik och systemdesign
• Har flera års erfarenhet av produktutveckling
• Är van att skriva tydliga, strukturerade kravspecifikationer och tekniska underlag
• Kan paketera komplex teknik så att både interna team och externa leverantörer kan arbeta effektivt utifrån den
• Är hands-on och trivs i labbmiljö, där du testar, mäter och itererar lösningar
• Arbetar snabbt och lösningsorienterat – och driver arbetet framåt även vid osäkerhet
• Är trygg i att fatta tekniska beslut och kan förklara och motivera dem tydligt
• Vågar ifrågasätta och förbättra befintliga lösningar på ett konstruktivt sätt
• Är strukturerad och metodisk, även i ett högt tempo

Teknisk kompetens

Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet av flera av följande områden:

• Systemdesign och arkitektur inom embedded electronics
• PCB-design är ett måste!
• EMC-design
• RF-design
• Audio, akustik och audio processing
• Programmering / testmiljöer (t.ex. LabVIEW eller liknande)

Kvalifikationer

• Civilingenjör / högskoleingenjör inom elektronik eller motsvarande erfarenhet
• Flera års erfarenhet av elektronikutveckling i produktutvecklingsmiljö
• Flytande engelska i tal och skrift
• Svenska är meriterande

What you will do

As an Automation Engineer at Rebl, you will play a key role in transforming advanced robotics and automation technology into reliable, high-performing industrial solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with PLC programming, system integration, testing, commissioning, and optimization of deployed automation systems.
A large part of your work will take place on-site at customer facilities, where you will install, configure, and fine-tune our robotic and automation solutions in real production environments. You will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle from assembly and implementation to troubleshooting, commissioning, and continuous improvements.
You will collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure our systems perform efficiently, reliably and at scale.

What we’re looking for

• Vocational education (YH/KY) in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in automation, mechatronics, or similar engineering roles
• Solid hands-on experience in installing, implementing, and commissioning automation systems in operational environments
• Strong PLC programming and operational skills (preferably Siemens TIA Portal)
• Practical experience working with sensors, actuators, and mechatronic systems
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing automation systems in production environments
• Basic knowledge in Python for automation, communication, or system integration is considered a plus
• Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools is an advantage
• Comfortable traveling and working on-site at customer locations for installations and commissioning
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership

What you will do

As an Automation Software Engineer at Rebl, you will play a central role in developing and refining the automation systems behind our robotic solutions. You will work with system architecture, control logic, robot behavior and performance optimization to create scalable and intelligent automation for industrial environments.
Your focus will be on development designing new solutions, improving existing systems, and building robust automation platforms that can be deployed across multiple customer sites. You will work closely with software, AI, electrical and mechanical engineers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from early concepts and prototyping to deployment and continuous product evolution.
You will contribute to how our robots think, move, adapt, and perform in increasingly complex production environments.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in automation, mechatronics, robotics, or similar engineering roles
• Strong experience in developing and designing automation systems for industrial applications
• PLC programming skills (preferably Siemens TIA Portal)
• Experience integrating sensors, actuators, and mechatronic systems into advanced automation solutions
• Proficiency in Python for automation development, system integration, or data communication
• Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools for system design and development
• Experience troubleshooting, testing, and optimizing complex automation systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical development independently
• Fluency in English
