Assignment description

Our customer is running the world’s first fully automated electrode production line in Norway producing 500 MW of electrodes. The hydrogen market is developing rapidly, our customer is increasing its capacity to meet the needs. They are currently building their second production line of 500MW and are planning to expand even further to become the market leader in producing electrodes.

Next step is to industrialize a new technology of electrolyzer and therefore we are looking for a Senior Technical Lead within Assembly - a project manager who is a safe and strong driver of technical solutions and experienced in taking ownership for a  production assemly solution.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled person with a background in Automotive Industry (Assembly) or similar to support the growth. The position reports to the Manufacturing Expansion Director and will be localized approx. 3 days/week in Porsgrunn/Norway and 2 days from office/home office.

Overall responsibility:

• Assembly lead for India project supporting Reliance setting up an assembly line
• Technical lead of industrialization of PE (Pressurized Electrolyzer)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Technical lead of PE (Pressurized Electrolyzer) – Lead/support/coordinate industrialization engineers

About the Role

As a Diagnostics Design & Verification Engineer you will play a key role in shaping system reliability, safety, and serviceability throughout the product lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate closely with system architects, embedded engineers, and product owners to design, implement, and verify state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system architectures to identify failure modes and diagnostic needs.
• Define diagnostic concepts, monitoring strategies, and mitigation mechanisms.
• Develop detailed system and software diagnostic requirements in accordance with ASPICE (SYS/SWE).
• Structure, configure, and maintain DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and UDS services.
• Ensure compliance with key automotive standards: ISO 14229, SAE J2012, SAE 1979.
• Design, implement, and execute diagnostic test cases for embedded systems.
• Specify datapoints for backend analytics, predictive maintenance, and fleet insights.
• Maintain diagnostic databases for manufacturing and aftermarket stakeholders.
• Monitor and support the execution of the organization’s test strategy.
• Perform hands‑on vehicle and rig testing, including fault injection.
• Conduct system‑level verification to ensure diagnostic performance meets requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working as a System Design Engineer, collaborating closely with electrical engineers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems and their lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with embedded software and hardware design.
• Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, XCP.
• Experience with HIL (Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop) testing environments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze code.
• Practical experience with vehicle and test‑rig diagnostics and measurement.
• Proficiency with tools such as Python, Excel, Wireshark, DLT Viewer.
• Familiarity with Linux/WSL environments.
• Valid Swedish B‑category driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AUTOSAR and POSIX-based environments.
• Knowledge of aftermarket onboard diagnostics and service‑oriented tooling.
• Understanding of emission‑related monitor design and OBD legislation.
• Background in system architecture development and/or project management.

We are now looking for a Driver Simulation Engineer with strong experience in open‑standard driving simulation to support one of our automotive customers.

You will work close to ADAS and autonomous driving development teams, focusing on virtual testing, scenario creation, and simulation integration using ASAM Open Standards. The work spans from scenario design to tool integration and automation, often in complex simulation environments.

You report to the CTO and are part of the CTO Office. You will work from our office in central Gothenburg together with engineers and colleagues with backgrounds in law enforcement, intelligence, and data analysis.

What we are looking for

The software industry is currently undergoing one of the most significant shifts in decades. AI-assisted development and rapidly evolving tooling are changing how software is designed, implemented, and maintained. In this role you will help Paliscope explore what that means in practice - how our architecture should evolve when development becomes increasingly AI-supported, how existing systems continue to develop alongside these capabilities, and when more fundamental redesigns may be necessary. Therefore, we hope you:

• Are a technically curious person who enjoys understanding complex systems and how they evolve over time.
• Enjoy discussing technical ideas with engineers, challenging assumptions, and exploring how new technologies can improve both development speed and product quality.
• Are comfortable discussing architecture and long-term technical direction, but you are also interested in experimentation and learning.

We believe your background includes:

• Extensive experience in software development, 10+ years and several years working with system architecture or technical leadership
• Strong programming skills and experience with modern technology stacks
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure systems
• Working with on-prem solutions
• Experience with modern architectures such as distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure environments and DevOps practices
• Speaking Swedish since that is the language spoken in the office
