Din profil
Vi söker dig som arbetat minst fem år inom teknisk produktutveckling samt har ett par års erfarenhet av att leda utvecklingsprojekt, gärna i internationell miljö. Då vi vill fortsätta utveckla världsledande produkter och lösningar breddar vi gärna teamets kompetens med någon som har sin ingenjörsgrund inom tex mekanik eller fysik. Mycket goda kunskaper i engelska (koncernspråk) och svenska är ett krav.

As Product Quality Intelligence (PQI) Manager at Swedish Match you will make sure the product category meets quality performance targets by sharing insights and supporting the organization in delivering effective quality improvement actions. The role involves identifying new sources of insight and intelligence, utilizing outputs from the PQI analysis and analytics teams, and driving impactful changes across product, categories, and regions. The role encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from suppliers to finished goods.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leverage Quality Insights (QI) to support quality improvement by influencing and working with key stakeholders
• Drive complex and cross functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Generate PQI calendar program deliverables for products and ecosystems within scope
• Support Product-Related Special Situations (PRSS) activities
• Collaborate with the analysis and analytics teams to develop new predictive models aimed at enhancing product quality performance.
• Continuously identify new sources of data and intelligence to enhance product performance throughout its lifecycle, from suppliers to finished goods.
The position belongs to the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Department (SHEQ) within Operations. The department is responsible for the division's and factories' quality work, including Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and analytical activities in the quality lab. SHEQ drives the development of quality processes together with other departments to ensure high quality, minimize defects and increase customer satisfaction. As a PQI Manager you will have close contact with sales markets and regions, factories and contract manufacturers, local Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Phillip Morris’ central PQI department.
This position is based in Gothenburg, and you will reside in centrally located premises with close access to other departments and factories. You will report to Sr Manager SHEQ.
Your profile
We are looking for an analytical and structured specialist with ability to analyse and interpret complex data. You should have a university or engineering degree in Engineering or Technical related field and minimum five years of experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Working with performance monitoring, analysis, investigations, and impact modelling should be no news for you and you should have experience of interpreting and translating complex information coupled with documenting and report writing.
We expect you to have experience from working efficiently in international cross-functional projects, navigating complex organisations.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders is the key to success, therefore excellence in verbal and written presentations in both English and Swedish is a must.

In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team to ensure our products meet end-user expectations, design control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, you will be involved in the different stages of device development and production. Your responsibilities will include driving change activities, managing device documentation updates, and participating in verification and validation activities. You will also, in cooperation with the manufacturing suppliers, be involved in manufacturing, change management, as well as maintenance and replacement planning, ensuring that Mediplast products remain effective and reliable.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of medical device products. You will perform and document Design Verification and Design Validation, ensuring that all processes meet quality and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include planning and driving activities/projects that cover design, development, design control, design transfer, and production activities.
About you
In this role, you will leverage your proven ability to compile and analyze data, alongside a solid understanding of the fundamentals of medical device regulatory requirements related to design, development, and production activities. You are structured and accustomed to planning and following up on activities, with experience in independently initiating and driving activities. Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders, listening to and understanding their needs, translating requirements, and effectively communicating and collaborating to achieve project goals. Knowledge in materials and materials science, as well as design and development experience, is a great advantage in this role. Experience in design transfer from R&D to manufacturing, and a strong background in the design verification and validation process is also desirable.
