As Product Quality Intelligence (PQI) Manager at Swedish Match you will make sure the product category meets quality performance targets by sharing insights and supporting the organization in delivering effective quality improvement actions. The role involves identifying new sources of insight and intelligence, utilizing outputs from the PQI analysis and analytics teams, and driving impactful changes across product, categories, and regions. The role encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from suppliers to finished goods.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leverage Quality Insights (QI) to support quality improvement by influencing and working with key stakeholders
• Drive complex and cross functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Generate PQI calendar program deliverables for products and ecosystems within scope
• Support Product-Related Special Situations (PRSS) activities
• Collaborate with the analysis and analytics teams to develop new predictive models aimed at enhancing product quality performance.
• Continuously identify new sources of data and intelligence to enhance product performance throughout its lifecycle, from suppliers to finished goods.
The position belongs to the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Department (SHEQ) within Operations. The department is responsible for the division's and factories' quality work, including Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and analytical activities in the quality lab. SHEQ drives the development of quality processes together with other departments to ensure high quality, minimize defects and increase customer satisfaction. As a PQI Manager you will have close contact with sales markets and regions, factories and contract manufacturers, local Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Phillip Morris’ central PQI department.
This position is based in Gothenburg, and you will reside in centrally located premises with close access to other departments and factories. You will report to Sr Manager SHEQ.
Your profile
We are looking for an analytical and structured specialist with ability to analyse and interpret complex data. You should have a university or engineering degree in Engineering or Technical related field and minimum five years of experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Working with performance monitoring, analysis, investigations, and impact modelling should be no news for you and you should have experience of interpreting and translating complex information coupled with documenting and report writing.
We expect you to have experience from working efficiently in international cross-functional projects, navigating complex organisations.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders is the key to success, therefore excellence in verbal and written presentations in both English and Swedish is a must.
