 Role overview

We are looking for an experienced electronic engineer, for a role onsite with one of our clients. 
In this role you will be part of the product and technology team located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This role is for a jack-of-all-trades electronic engineer with PCB-design skills. 

 Key Responsibilities

• Schematic Capture: Multi-sheet and hierarchical schematic design.
• PCB Layout: Design of multi-layer, high-density PCBs.
• PCB Stackup Design: Development of layer stackups, including signal integrity and thermal considerations.
• Pre-Layout Simulations: Conducting simulations to predict performance before layout.
• Component Selection: Choosing appropriate components based on performance, availability, and cost.
• Supplier Engagement: Contacting and coordinating with suppliers for components and materials.
• Component Soldering: Soldering of key components such as capacitors, connectors, cables, fuses, MOSFETs, and more.
• Lab Tool Utilization: Proficient use of lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
• Prototype Development: Bring-up, validation, and launch of hardware prototypes.
• Manufacturing Handoff: Transfer-to-manufacturing, ensuring design readiness for mass production.
• Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for design and manufacturing.

Skills and Qualifications

• BSc or MSc of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
• +5 years of experience from electronics development projects
• Fluency in Altium Designer
• Understanding of signal and power integrity
• Knowledge in PCB fabrication and assembly process
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
• Experience managing vendors locally and abroad
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal & organizational skills
• Good written & spoken Swedish and English communication skills
